HASELIP, Grace E. - 83, of Myrtle Creek, passed away at home, April 22, 2000, with her family around her.

She was born July 2, 1916 in Centralia, Oklahoma to George and Gracie Kirk. After growing up in Oklahoma she met and married Fred Haselip in 1933.

In 1954 they moved to the West Coast after being plagued by floods in the midwest. Her father was a minister and Grace was very active in the church, her son Thomas was also an active minister. The main Interest of her life was making a loving home for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Ellen Hoyt and most recently her son Thomas.

Survivors include three sons, Carl, Richard, and Bruce Haselip, all of Myrtle Creek, daughters, Shirley Hannon of Brookings, Oregon, Barbara McNutt of Ceder Hills, Texas, daughter-in-law, Anne Haselip of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, and 23 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2000, 2:30 p.m. at Tri City Church of God with Reverend Wayne Eason officiating. Private Interment will be in Toledo, Washington, Sunday, April 30, 2000.


Grace married Fred Joel Haselip on 29 Jul 1933 in Columbus, Cherokee, Kansas, United States.1 (Fred Joel Haselip was born on 19 Jun 1901, died on 26 Mar 1987 and was buried in Toledo Cemetery, Toledo, Lewis, Washington, United States.)
