George Benjamin Kerfoot (son of Samuel Kerfoot and Eliza Jane Neeland) was born 10 April 1867 in Richmond, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada, and died 23 March 1942 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
He married Susannah Moscrop on 1901 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He worked at the clothing store of Johnson and Kerfoot. The former was a brother-in-law (Deborah's husband) and the latter was his brother WIlliam J.
In 1906 George opened his own store in the same business with a partner who was no relation. He carried on until 1926 when he went into the life and fire insurance business, continuing until his death, March 23, 1942.
