• Sold: W 1/2 of Lot 12, Concession 6 to Ira Hawley, Abt 1834, Osnabruck Twp (South Stormont), Stormont, Eastern District (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry), Upper Canada (Ontario), Canada.

• Moved: to Osgoode, 1842, Osgoode Twp (Ottawa), Carleton, Canada West (Ontario), Canada. 6 where he lived for the remainder of his life. The family may have moved to Osgoode around 1834 or 1835, after Rudolph sold the Osnabruck lot to Ira Hawley. If that was the case, the land grant for which wife Ann applied may have been in Osgoode. His land was adjacent to that of John and Ann Wood.


Rudolph married Anna Wood, daughter of John Wood (U.E.L.) and Abigail Drew, on 11 Oct 1838 in Osnabruck Centre, Osnabruck Twp, Stormont, Eastern District (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry), Upper Canada (Ontario), Canada.1 (Anna Wood was born on 28 Jul 1807 in Cornwall Twp (South Stormont), Stormont, Eastern District (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry), Upper Canada (Ontario), Canada, christened on 30 Aug 1807 in Saint Andrew's Presbyterian, Williamstown, Glengarry, Eastern District (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry), Upper Canada (Ontario), Canada,7 died on 28 May 1895 and was buried in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.)
