Duke of France, Marquis of Neustria, Count of Paris and Poitiers. Robert was killed at the battle of Soissons. He had been named King of the West Franks in 922 to succeed his brother.
Robert married Aelis. (Aelis was born about 864.)
Robert next married Beatrice de Vermandois, daughter of Herbert I Count of Vermandois and Bertha de Morvois, abt 0895. (Beatrice de Vermandois was born in 880 and died in 931.)
