Jens Christian Jensen

Jens Christian Jensen was born in Denmark, January 12, 1885, the son of Jens Jorgen Jensen [this person?] and Josena (Jergenson) Jenson, and for the past 39 years has been a resident of Nebraska. His father, who was a farmer, was born in Denmark, September 12, 1855, and died at Stanton, Nebraska, December 30, 1928. His mother was born in Denmark, June 8, 1861.

Mr. Jensen has been a carpenter and contractor at Ainsworth for the past 25 years, and at this time is a member of the Ainsworth Commercial Club, is serving as mayor of the city, and holds membership in the Red Cross. His hobby is building radios.
He was married at Ainsworth, July 18, 1906, to Amy Carolina Bower who was born at Ainsworth, June 14, 1887. Four children were born to them: Sibylia Jensen, December 2, 1908, who died December 12, 1908; Kenneth W., July 15, 1910; Peter, April 2, 1914; and Ruben Holland, December 22, 1921. Residence: Ainsworth.
