Ann Newman was born, 1648, in England to Roger Newman and his wife. She married Col Nicholas Greenberry, 1671, in England, and had four children: Charles, Katherine, Ann, and Elizabeth Greenberry. They immigrated to Maryland in 1674. Ann Newman Greenberry died, 27 April 1698, aged 50, in Annapolis, Maryland, and was buried at Saint Anne's Churchyard.
