[Children of John Plemons, son of Thomas Plemin:]
James & Louise (parents of Joe Doc, John Layette, Rebecca, & Francis Marion) left Buncombe County and went to Macon County, then Cherokee County, NC, before leaving the state in the 1840's to Sweetwater, Monroe County, TN. Just before the Civil War they migrated to Apple Grove, Morgan Co., AL.
