  Research Notes:

Either his birthdate is wrong, or his father was a different James Kirk, since he should have been born in Ballymoney like his brothers.

James (T.?) Kirk, (Jr.?) may have been the son of a second wife (Jean?) instead of Mary Agnes Edmiston. Depends on his birthdate. He may also have been the son of an entirely different father.
