  Noted events in his life were:

• Purchased: "Ewen-upon-Ewenton" from Benjamin Lawrence, 1697, "Ewen upon Ewenton", West River, Anne Arundel, Maryland, (United States). Benjamin Lawrence had purchased the 400 acres from Richard Ewen in 1672, and had built a house there before 1684. Richard Galloway built "Cedar Park" around the Lawrence inner house.


Richard married Elizabeth Talbot Lawrence on 10 Dec 1686 in West River Hundred, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, (United States). (Elizabeth Talbot Lawrence was born on 10 Aug 1656 in West River Hundred, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, (United States).)
